Marc and Meg Alexander Community Support Grant
The Parkinson’s Support Group of Sonoma County (PSGSC) Community Support Grant provides financial assistance to people living with Parkinson’s disease (PWP) in Sonoma County to help remove financial barriers to services and resources that improve health, independence, and quality of life.
Community Support Grants of up to $500 per person per calendar year are awarded quarterly based on financial need and the potential impact the requested assistance will have on the applicant's quality of life.
Grant funds may be used for a variety of Parkinson’s-related needs, including, but not limited to:
Physical, occupational, or speech therapy
Exercise or wellness programs
Transportation to and from medical appointments or treatment
Parkinson’s education classes or workshops
Adaptive equipment or assistive services
Other Parkinson’s-related programs or services that support health, independence, and well-being
Applications are reviewed confidentially by the PSGSC Community Support Grant Committee.
If you are a person living with Parkinson’s disease and could benefit from financial assistance, we encourage you to submit an application via our online application form.
